Thrasher softball player commits to play at NEMCC

A Thrasher Lady Rebel has made a commitment to play collegiate softball at NEMCC.

Albanie Windham will be continuing her playing career at Northeast.

Windham plays for Thrasher and has played club softball for the MS Express and West TN Elite.

Last season for Thrasher she hit 391 with an on base percentage of 468. Windham notched 14 RBI, 35 Runs Scored and 17 Stolen Bases while playing stellar defense for the Lady Rebels in helping lead them to the 1A playoffs last season.

“Albanie is the type of player that will do whatever it takes to get better and she has done just that. I am glad she is getting this opportunity,” Thrasher assistant coach LH Hurt said about Windhams commitment.
