Northeast places 59 athletes on NJCAA academic honors list

Northeast recognized 59 student-athletes on the NJCAA’s 2025-26 All-Academic teams, marking its third consecutive year with more than 50 honorees. Fourteen earned first-team recognition with perfect 4.0 grade-point averages.

Women’s golf led the team awards with a 3.95 GPA and national Academic Team of the Year honors. Women’s cross-country finished second nationally at 3.75. Softball posted a 3.69 GPA for its 13th consecutive team academic award.

Nine Northeast teams exceeded a 3.0 GPA. Baseball had 14 individual honorees, softball had 12 and football had 10.

Local first-team recipients included women’s golfers Andie Kate Ramey of Booneville and Ivy Kate Woodruff of Jumpertown. Clark Janzen of Booneville earned second-team honors in baseball, and Ava Elliott of New Site received third-team recognition in softball. Second-team selections carried GPAs of 3.80-3.99, while third-team honorees earned 3.60-3.79.
