Northeast golf fall schedules feature national championship previews

Northeast’s men’s and women’s golf teams built national championship previews into their fall schedules, the college announced August 19.

The men were scheduled to open September 1-2 at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana, the site of the 2027 national tournament. The women’s national preview was scheduled for November 9-10 at Ol’ Colony in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Northeast’s men were also set to host an invitational September 14-15 at Shiloh Ridge in Corinth. Their conference events moved to 54 holes over two days, with two rounds on the opening day, instead of the previous 36-hole format.

The women’s schedule began with the Lady Ranger tournament September 14-15 in Robinsonville. Other fall stops included the Atomic City tournament October 5-6 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, a district preview in Oxford, Alabama, and a Jefferson State event. The schedule gave both programs opportunities to prepare for postseason courses and competition.
