Wheeler’s Jalon Beene signs basketball scholarship with ICC

Wheeler’s Jalon Beene, the state of Mississippi’s leading point scorer this season, has signed to play for Itawamba Community College this season.

Beene, a 5’11” Senior guard, has scored 885 points this season to lead the state.

He has also collected 294 rebounds this season, which is the 5th most in the state.

His Wheeler team is in the second round of the playoffs this Saturday against Simmons. Tip-off is set for 7 pm.
