Wheeler’s Beene drops 43 to retake state scoring lead
Wheeler’s Jalon Beene dropped 43 points against rival Biggersville in a losing effort on Tuesday night to retake the Mississippi scoring lead.
Beene is averaging 29.1 points per game.
He has scored a state best 698 points so far this season. That puts him at 17th nationally in points scored according to MaxPreps.
His 43 against Biggersville was the 4th time this season he has dropped 40+.
