Thrasher opens softball season with victory over Ripley

The Thrasher Lady Rebels kicked off the season on the right foot by defeating Ripley in an away Classic game on Monday.

The game was in a stale mate until the 4th inning when the Lady Rebels scratched out a our of runs on two hits.

Thrasher took a 3-1 lead into the 7th inning where they went off for 4 runs, ultimately winning 7-1.

The Lady Rebels are back in action in an away contest vs. Belmont on Tuesday, February 26.
