Thrasher picks up pair of wins on Senior night as they are one win away from district title

The Thrasher Lady Rebels had a big night Friday, picking up a big win over an in-county foe and staying hot to pick up the win in the night cap.

Thrasher took out Jumpertown 12-0 and defeated Alcorn Central 9-5.

A great way to send off your Seniors is putting up 21 combined runs and picking up a pie of wins.

The Lady Rebels handed Seniors Gabbie Hall and Destiny McGee the big wins thanks to hot hitting, stellar defense and consistent pitching.

That’s typically a formula for success.

Thrasher churned out 20 hits over the two games, led by Elisa Young who went 6-6 with a trio of doubles and a triple. Hall led the way with 5 RBI on the day. Lexi Underwood, Amyia White and Albanie Windham added triples.

Montgomery Tittle picked up both wins, striking out 10 on the day.

The district win over Jumpertown sets up a winner take all match against rival Biggersville on Tuesday.
